Who we are

VillageAway is a trading name of VillageAway Experiences Limited, a private limited company duly incorporated and registered in the Republic of Kenya under the Companies Act, 2015. References in these Terms & Conditions to “VillageAway,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to VillageAway Experiences Limited.

By accessing this website or making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

Booking & payment

A booking is confirmed once payment is submitted via the VillageAway M-Pesa Till and manually verified by our team. Until verification, your spot is held but not guaranteed. If a trip is full, bookings are placed on a waitlist and confirmed as spots open up.

All payments are made directly to VillageAway’s official M-Pesa Till, safe and secured. We will never ask for your M-Pesa PIN, card details, or any other banking credentials — only the confirmation transaction code after you’ve completed payment yourself.

Cancellations

Cancellations, refunds, transfers and changes to a booking are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Reach out to our team as early as possible if your plans change.

Travel with children

Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and wellbeing of their children throughout the trip, including during any supervised childcare moments built into the itinerary.

Changes to an escape

Itineraries are thoughtfully planned but may change due to weather, availability, or circumstances beyond our control. We’ll always aim to keep the spirit of the trip intact.
