This escape is designed for a small, intimate group of moms traveling with young children. If you're comfortable letting the details be handled, love the idea of traveling alongside families who get it, and want your little one right there in the adventure with you, this is for you.

Who is the Mauritius trip for?
Moms travelling with their children who want a relaxed, beautiful holiday with a community of other moms. You can come solo with your child or book with friends.
How many people are going?
Up to 15 moms and their children, plus your VillageAway host.
What if my child has allergies or specific needs?
Tell us in your travel profile. It's exactly why we ask, so we can plan around what your little one actually needs.
What ages can children be?
Children aged 0–17 are welcome. The Kids’ Club is for ages 3–12. Under-3s stay with mom or a babysitter, and teens join the group activities.
Is this a one-time trip, or will there be more?
This is one of several VillageAway escapes, not our last. We're building toward a bigger village, with trips to new destinations over time.
Can dads, partners or nannies come?
This is a moms-and-kids trip, so partners don’t join the group. If you need to bring a nanny for a child with specific needs, contact us first.
Where will we stay?
At The Ravenala Attitude, a family-friendly, all-inclusive beachfront resort in Balaclava on Mauritius’s north-west coast. You and your child share a room
Are flights included?
No. You book your own flights to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). We recommend booking as soon as you reserve your spot, since early August is peak season and fares rise.
